The Estiluz Belt and Volta Memphis collections have been selected to participate in the 2025 Best of Year Awards, the annual prizes presented by the American magazine Interior Design to honour the most innovative projects and products in the world of design.

This edition is especially significant: the competition celebrates its 20th anniversary, consolidating its position as one of the most influential events in the industry worldwide. The winners will be featured in the magazine and highlighted to a community of more than five million design professionals and enthusiasts.

Belt: versatile elegance

Designed by Ilmiodesign, Belt is a collection of pendant lamps that combines balance, functionality, and creativity. Its design plays with the interaction between an opaque metal shade and a translucent glass diffuser, creating a subtle dialogue between shadows and reflections. Available in different sizes and configurations, Belt adapts to every space with discreet elegance, transforming light into an element of aesthetic expression.

Volta Memphis: a limited-edition tribute

Inspired by the Memphis movement of the 1980s, Volta Memphis—created by Nahtrang Studio with the creative collaboration of Tactica—reinterprets the iconic Volta lamp with an explosion of colour and geometry. Its bold, eclectic spirit celebrates the union of art, design, and emotion in a limited edition of 55 numbered pieces commemorating Estiluz’s 55th anniversary.

With this piece, Estiluz pays tribute to the rebellious and creative spirit of the group led by Ettore Sottsass, connecting past and present in a design exercise that transcends functionality to become a collectible work of art.
