Denys & von Arend's project for Bimedica's new headquarters in Molins de Rei combines natural light, greenery, and Mediterranean-inspired materials. Belt's versatility complements the different spaces for work and interaction

Bimedica's new headquarters, located in Molins de Rei, Barcelona, brings the company's different areas of activity together under one roof. The interior design and implementation project, developed by Denys & von Arend, distributes laboratories, logistics areas, offices, and shared spaces across the building's different floors, with the aim of creating a functional, bright, and connected work environment.

Natural light plays a particularly important role in the project. A series of skylights brings daylight into the work areas and helps visually define the different departments. Greenery, natural tones, and a carefully selected palette of materials complete a Mediterranean-inspired design that brings warmth to the interiors.

Belt, different configurations for the same space

The Belt collection, designed by Ilmiodesign, is integrated throughout the offices in different configurations that respond to the needs of each area.

Above the tables, the suspension lamps incorporate their signature shade, creating defined points of light and adding presence to the space without compromising the overall sense of lightness. Above counters and worktops, Belt appears in its most essential form, without a shade, creating lighter compositions that follow the geometry of the furniture.

This ability to change its expression using the same core elements makes it possible to maintain a consistent lighting identity across different areas of the project. Belt's various configurations adapt to each use and scale, from shared workspaces to more informal meeting areas.

Natural and decorative lighting coexist in balance: Belt becomes part of the warm, contemporary language of an office designed to support both work and moments of connection and interaction
