Animals and Volta: bringing its geometric shapes into a new world of imagination

Volta has been transformed by Luci Gutiérrez, an illustrator with a long and prestigious career working on books, animations, and advertising campaigns for various media around the world. 

For several years, her ironic drawings have appeared in many of the world's most important publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, and The New Yorker.

Furthermore, last June she was awarded with the 2023 National Illustration Award granted by the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sports. The jury distinguished Luci for her exceptional career and for being one of the most outstanding artists in the sector with successful illustrations inside and outside of Spain.

In her interpretation of the Volta family, animals take over the iconic lamp, launching its classic geometric shapes into a new world of imagination.
