The new Som Riu Dental Clinic, located in the heart of Ripoll (Girona), opened its doors on June 10 with a space designed to convey calm, well-being, and professionalism from the very first moment. In this welcoming, light-filled environment, Estiluz played a key role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere thanks to a sculptural composition of Alfi lamps, which take center stage in the reception area with their elegant, well-balanced presence.

The interior design combines natural wood, white walls, greenery, and clean lines—a soft aesthetic in which Alfi becomes the perfect accent to reinforce Som Riu’s visual identity: closeness and trust.

Alfi offers a warm welcome

In the reception area, a captivating cascade of Alfi luminaires in a gold finish welcomes patients with a dynamic and sophisticated visual display. The varying suspension heights, along with the mix of covered and uncovered versions, create an organic composition reminiscent of the pins in a tailor’s workshop—the very inspiration behind the collection designed by Estudi{H}ac.

The lamps blend seamlessly into a warm backdrop of natural wood, accompanied by neutral tones and greenery that add freshness. Alfi’s indirect light softly washes over the counter and entryways, creating a serene and carefully curated welcome.

A composition that balances geometry and movement

The Alfi collection is defined by its ability to create endless configurations thanks to its modular points of light. At Som Riu, this potential has been used to design a suspended installation that combines both the glass-shade model and the covered version. The dialogue between these pieces produces a subtle interplay of volumes, reinforcing the idea of a moving pattern that characterizes Alfi.

With this project, Estiluz reaffirms the potential of the Alfi collection as a tool for creating memorable compositions in spaces where aesthetics and functionality must coexist in harmony.

Like a slender, luminous sculpture, the installation transforms the reception ceiling into a focal element without compromising the overall sense of calm.
